The Importance of Primary Elections

Thursday, February 8 | 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Stix House 6470 Forsyth Blvd.

Primaries are a critical part of our electoral process, yet they often yield lower turnout than general elections. In this lecture, Political Science Professor Dan Butler will dive into why primaries matter and potential solutions to our chronic under-engagement in these elections, including changing electoral rules and strategies to boost voter turnout.

All attendees are encouraged to participate in this survey before the event. https://wustl.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_dbw9v0Y37KEDXHU
