The COVID Vaccine: Race, Risk Factors and Equity in Vaccine Distribution

Wednesday, March 17 | 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been disturbingly clear that people of color and those living in poverty were more both likely to become infected with the disease and more likely to die from it. As vaccine distribution ramps up in our area, there are considerable challenges to get the vaccine first to those at greatest risk.

This conversation will highlight the plans and efforts underway to assure that the vaccine is equitably available across our region.
