I really enjoyed the presentation, and I loved the book. I am not from St Louis but have lived here for the past 7 years. I moved her to write a book about Cahokia, so Dr. Johnson starting with the Native slaughter and weaving it to the slavery and oppression of the African American people was very effective. I am horrified at the details of what's happened in St Louis, and how many natives here do not really know what a focal point the city is for racism. The discussion and questions were very interesting and I'd love a copy of the zoom presentation! Thank you for bringing him to the campus!
