About this Event
For our quarterly Sustainability Action Team (SAT) meeting, we are excited to be hosting Anne Tieber, Curator of Birds at the St. Louis Zoo! Anne has been with the Saint Louis Zoo for 31 years and has worked with a variety of species but is most passionate about vultures and native bird species, especially native songbirds. Born and raised in St. Louis, she received her degree in Wildlife Conservation and Management from Missouri State University (formerly SMSU). She spends what little free time she has dedicated to her family, her dogs and spreading the word about native birds and ecosystems.
Anne will be joining the SAT to talk about the Lights Out Heartland and Bird Strike initiatives, generously donating her time to educate our community about simple actions that will help make our campuses more bird friendly. We hope to see you there!
