The Department of Anthropology and the Ampersand Medicine & Society Program invite you to contribute to our annual Thanksgiving Through Service Donation Drive.

With the ongoing impacts of the May tornado, the recent government shutdown, and the impending end to SNAP benefits, local food banks are experiencing a critical shortage of supplies. From October 31st through November 17th, we will be collecting non-perishable food and hygiene items (please, no glass containers or ramen noodles) to donate to Operation Food Search, which serves families across the St. Louis region.

Beginning Friday, October 31st, donation bins will be available on all three floors of McMillan Hall. If you would like to donate immediately, items may also be dropped off in the Department of Anthropology Office, McMillan 112.

As a community, let’s come together to show what “In St. Louis, For St. Louis” truly means.
