Saint Louis Story Stitchers Artists Collective promotes a better educated, more peaceful and caring region through storytelling. STAND DOWN / RISE UP Respect and Redirect - is an exploration of African Americans throughout Missouri’s history that have impacted gun violence today by Black artists and young poets ages 16-24 who currently reside in St. Louis city and county. There will be a performance by Saint Louis Story Stitchers followed by a post-show discussion and a reception to talk with the artists. Free and open to the public but RSVP appreciated.
