Shuo Zhang focuses on observational high-energy astrophysics and particle astrophysics – including supermassive black holes, Galactic cosmic-ray origin, and large dataset analysis. Before joining the MSU faculty in July 2023, she was an Assistant Professor at Bard College from 2020-2023, a NASA Hubble Fellow from 2019-2020, and a postdoctoral scholar and Heising-Simons Fellow at the Massachussetts Institute of Technology.
