Join Skandalaris Center Investor-In-Residence Elise Miller Hoffman (AB ’11, MBA ’14) for a Pitch Practice Workshop. Learn how to pitch your idea with confidence by identifying the problem you hope to solve, sharing the solution, market, competition and value proposition for your potential customers. Special attention will be focused on identifying the investment needed and the areas you need assistance to bring your idea to life.
Skandalaris Center Assistant Director of Programs Jessica Weldon will share how presenters can spot biased questions. The presentations will help presenters discover how unconscious bias affects questions asked during entrepreneurial pitches and learn how to recognize biased questions and reframe answers to positively affect outcomes in an entrepreneurship competition or investor pitch.
