We are thrilled to invite you to the highly anticipated exhibition, "Retrospective: Nabil," featuring the powerful works of acclaimed artist Nabil Mousa. This captivating showcase, curated by Tahia Farhin Haque, will take place at Techartista & Lewis Collaborative.
Nabil Mousa, born in Syria in 1966, presents a profound exploration of abstraction, blending his personal journey with groundbreaking artistic innovation. Shaped by pivotal moments in U.S. history and his own life, Mousa's work dives deep into themes of identity, resistance, and transformation.
This retrospective harnesses Mousa's mastery of color and gestural abstraction, delving into the complexities of beauty and cultural heritage. Drawing inspiration from Arab visual traditions, these works create a dialogue between past and present, reflecting on societal and personal struggles while celebrating resilience and hope.
