Join us for a free, virtual Storm Spotter class brought to you by WashU Emergency Management and WashU Weather. The class will be taught by the National Weather Service Forecast Office in St. Louis and will prepare the WashU community for the severe weather season. This event is part of WashU Emergency Management's Ready Week.
Attendees are taught the basics of thunderstorm development, storm structure, the features to look for and where to find them. The class will cover what information to report, how to report it and when to report. Severe weather safety basics will also be discussed.
