Lauris McQuoid-Greason, PhD candidate in Hispanic Studies at Washington University, focuses on works by Mexican artist Leopoldo Méndez from the Museum’s permanent collection. She considers the relationship between printmaking as form and the collective processes of art-making Méndez employed, including his founding of the Taller de Gráfica Popular (The People’s Print Shop).
