MOCM Morning Music: Missouri Chamber Music Festival

Wednesday, June 15 | 10:30 AM

560 Music Center, Pillsbury Theatre
560 Trinity Ave., St. Louis, MO 63130

MOCM's popular morning concert returns with lively and inspiring chamber music of Mozart!

The second concert of the 2022 MOCM Festival explores the many facets of Mozart from the light liveliness of the Oboe Quartet, featuring oboist Jelena Dirks, to the dark melancholic intensity of the String Quintet in G Minor. Of course, a MOCM all -Mozart concert would not be complete without celebrating the piano -- here with 4-hands!

Program:

Sonata in B-Flat Major, K. 358 for Piano 4-hands by W. A. Mozart
Nina Ferrigno & Hugh Hinton, piano

Oboe Quartet in F Major, K. 370 by W. A. Mozart
Jelena Dirks, oboe
Catherine French, violin
Chris Tantillo, viola
Davin Rubicz, cello

String Quintet No.4 in G Minor, K. 16 by W. A. Mozart
Angie Smart & Ann Fink, violin
Andrew Francois & Chris Tantillo, viola
Bjorn Ranheim, cello
