Our keynote will be former Ethiopian diplomat, Ephrem Andemariam, who will lead a roundtable discussion about the crisis in Ethiopia as well as a broader discussion about the role of Africans across the diaspora in educating and equipping themselves with the knowledge and skills to address and discuss conflicts that may arise in their home countries on the continent. We recognize there is a loss of connection between Africans on the continent and the diaspora and we need to remedy this disconnect to continue to excel as a people. Bring your experiences and opinions and be prepared to engage in a productive discussion on how we as the future of Africa can use our voices for good.
Please note that for all in-person events, attendees must adhere to Washington University’s public health requirements, including the latest events and meetings protocol. Guests will be required to show a successful self-screening result and wear a mask at all times.
