Start Me Up: A Talk on Venture Capital and Transforming Traditional Industries

There’s nothing like a pandemic to inspire innovation. Whether it’s individuals starting a business (more than 4 million in the United States in 2020) or established businesses’ quick turn to ecommerce, the times they are a-changin’. No organization is immune to this wave of digitization and the growing need to think strategically about technology to drive progress.

So what’s next for startups? We’re tapping WashU Olin alum and entrepreneur Megan Berry, MBA ’15, to find out. In addition to by REVEAL, her retail services platform, she’s a partner at Mentors Fund, a group that works with capital-efficient startups looking to transform traditional industries.

Berry will sit down with entrepreneurship professor Doug Villhard for a conversation on the entrepreneurship process, the ins and outs of venture capital investing, and digital transformation’s place at the center of leading through change for virtually every sector of business.
