Please join us for a free concert featuring renowned local jazz pianist Kim Portnoy and guitarist William Lenihan. Portnoy is a composer, arranger and the Director of Composition Studies at Webster University and Lenihan is a internationally performing guitarist and composer who serves at the director of jazz performance at Washington University. The quartet will perform contemporary compositions and improvised music.
Jazz at Holmes is a free weekly concert series that serves our students and greater St. Louis community by providing weekly live jazz performances by noted local and regional artists. Jazz at Holmes takes place most Thursday evenings from 8-10 p.m. at Holmes Lounge in Ridgley Hall on the Danforth campus.
