About this Event
Nearly a quarter of young children living in poverty experience mental health conditions such as PTSD and anxiety. As such, social workers are increasingly called upon to intervene with children ages birth to 4 years and their families.
Join us as we discuss the risk factors in the family and immediate environment that are highly consequential for children’s social-emotional development, and will introduce participants to promising prevention and treatment strategies that aim to support families and improve young child outcomes.
