There are effective psychotherapy treatments for PTSD. However, client motivation to engage in trauma-focused therapy while dealing with the chronic stress of the current pandemic poses a unique set of challenges. The lecture will discuss this unique set of challenges, as well as explore strategies for overcoming these challenges, to promote increased client engagement in these effective psychotherapy treatments.
