The employment rate of people with disabilities has made surprisingly little progress over the last 31 years since the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act. This presentation discusses several reasons why more progress has not been made in this area and two policy initiatives Paraquad is working on in Missouri to increase employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
This program is part of the Inclusive Perspectives series, which shares lived experience, practitioner expertise, and research findings regarding the inclusion of people with disabilities.
