Washington University in St. Louis has been affiliated with 26 Nobel Laureates, many of whom did a significant portion of their award-winning work at the university. This new exhibit will highlight some of these Nobel Laureates and their extraordinary colleagues who created a vibrant climate for innovation and scientific achievement.

Nobel Prize winners are recognized for their singular achievements, but their discoveries rarely happen without the support and influence of colleagues and collaborators. Washington University, and especially its School of Medicine, has long had a tradition of collaboration and innovation. Inspiring teachers, innovative lab technicians, and supportive faculty administrators have made an environment enabling Nobel Prize-winning work.
