Want to know the elemental and chemical state of your material? X-ray photoelectron spectrum (XPS) can give you the answer. XPS measures elemental constitution and chemical states of a material surface. By removing the material layer by layer using gentle sputtering, the depth profile of elements as well as their chemical state can be obtained. We can also get valence band spectrum to measure work function, Fermi edge and ionization potential.  Join us for a lecture, lunch, lab tour and lab demo! The workshop is free but registration is required. RSVP
