Wednesday, October 2, 2024 5 PM to 7 PM
About this Event
4370 Duncan Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110
We would like to cordially invite you to join us for an evening to learn more about current research happenings at the Washington University Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center. We are hosting this event “Hands-on Evening with Washington University Investigators: Neurodevelopmental Disorders” to provide the community a unique opportunity to speak directly to our scientists and their research teams to receive updates on the latest breakthroughs and research initiatives being led right here at the WashU IDDRC and to interact hands-on with tools and cutting edge technology being used by investigators in the Center. We offer this as an opportunity for families, professionals, and the research and medical community to come together and discuss the current state of IDD research here at Wash U, as well as our plans and hopes for how our research will continue to inform clinical care and meaningfully impact individuals living with autism, developmental delays, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, or related conditions.
The event will be held in the beautiful new Jeffrey T. Fort Neuroscience Building – the newest facility on the Wash U campus, bringing together over 100 research teams from across the university focused on solving the many mysteries of the brain and the body’s nervous system. This is a family-friendly event, and we will offer accessible accommodations as well as a multisensory environment. We would be delighted if you and your colleagues, clinic and research teams, would join us for the evening. Space is limited for this event, so we kindly ask that you please RSVP no later than September 25th using the link below. Please feel free to share the attached flyer and RSVP link with others you may know that would be interested in joining. Opening remarks will be at 5:30pm followed by an interactive evening of posters, lightening slides, and mingling with the scientists of the IDDRC, while enjoying light appetizers and refreshments.
