H.Richard "Rick"Grodsky, was assistant dean and registrar and professor of electrical engineering from 1990 to 1999. He received his bachelor's (1965), master's (1967), and doctoral (1971) degrees in electrical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
Grodsky had been an adjunct instructor in the School of Engineering & Applied Science from 1966-1971. He was formerly the electrical engineering department's liaison for the University of Missouri-St. Louis/Washington University Joint Undergraduate Engineering Program.
Rick loved students. After his death in 2002, an endowed fund was established to honor him and sustain this annual student event.
