When the set of Grand Challenges for Social Work was originally developed, the issues of gender disparities and inequities were not explicitly addressed, either in a separate Grand Challenge or as a cross-cutting issue. These disparities and inequities are now recognized as a significant oversight that will require remediation. In this webinar, the issues of gender will be described and several key examples related to specific Grand Challenges will be provided.

This program is presented in partnership with the American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare (AASWSW).
