Ballroom culture is an African-American and Latin American underground Queer subculture that originated in New York City where people compete for trophies and glory at events called balls. 

SHADES Project or Supporting the Health, Arts, Diversity, Education and Safe Spaces of Queer and Trans people of color and the people who love them, hosted a workshop on ballroom dance last month.

Cheer on these students as they show off their skills and enjoy live performances from local ballroom dancers.
