Sheng Ran, of NIST & University of Maryland, will present.
Quantum materials are not only interesting at the level of fundamental physics, but also are promising for the next generation of electronic devices. However, theoretical proposals for the realization of such devices are well ahead of experiments, and this gap needs to be addressed by the dedicated effort of discovery, design, characterization and control of novel quantum materials.
