The Washington University Community is invited to attend the Enhancing Participation by Minoritized Groups in Alzheimer Disease and Related Dementia Research Conference on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 8am-5pm and Wednesday, October 4, 2023 8am-12pm at The Eric P. Newman Education Center @ 320 S Euclid Avenue, Saint Louis, MO 63110. 

Agenda topics are inclusive of:

  • Proposed uniform definitions and terms relevant to the inclusion of minoritized people in Alzheimer Disease and Related Dementias research
  • Review and compare current social risk factors such as low-education level or housing instability
  • Voices from the community: What research areas should be explored and how?
  • Evidence-based recruitment, engagement, and retention strategies
  • Conference wrap-up and action plans

Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Tuesday.  Breakfast will be provided on Wednesday.
