MEDRAN Speaker Series at Washington University in St. Louis :
Julie Bacqué began her university studies in international business at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de l'Université de La Rochelle, France. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and Languages with a double degree from the Hogeschool vor Economische Studies at the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
She then joined the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy at the University of Poitiers, France, graduating in 2012. During her studies, she became involved in medical student associations with the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations.
Since 2015, she has been working as a Hospital Practitioner in the Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department, SAMU (Service d'Aide Médicale Urgente) and SMUR (Service Mobile d'Urgence et de Réanimation) at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Poitiers, France.
