Join the Office of the Provost and the Gephardt Institute for our Election Lunch and Learn series! Stop by to learn from Dean Stefanie Lindquist and enjoy a free pizza lunch.

On November 5, Missouri voters will decide whether to adopt a number of ballot measures that amend the Missouri Constitution, including Amendment 3 addressing reproductive health care.  Unlike the U.S. Constitution, many state constitutions may be amended by the voters at the ballot box.  But how does the process work?  What impact do these amendments have?  May they be challenged in court?  Why do states differ in this way from the federal system?  Join us to learn the answers to these questions and more!

Dean Stefanie Lindquist serves as the Nickerson Dean and Professor of Law at WashU Law and Professor of Political Science, by courtesy.

Oct. 29, noon – 1 p.m. at Stix House (Lunch served starting 11:30 a.m.)
