About this Event
Larry Ward is the eighth speaker in WashU Mindfulness Science & Practice’s Mindfulness & Anti-Racism Speaker Series. In this Zoom webinar-based talk, built on Ward's book America's Racial Karma: An Invitation to Heal, we will explore the origins of race as a social psychology, our consciousness of shared trauma, the iceberg and duality of race conditioning, and the antidotes of spiritual and social repair.
This event is rescheduled from Sept. 27, as Ward was previously unable to participate due to hurricane-induced flooding around his home.
Sponsored by the Incubator for Transdisciplinary Futures and the Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity & Equity
