Join us for a thought-provoking fireside chat with WashU Law Professor Trevor Gardner and Maria Hawilo, co-editor of the influential book Dismantling Mass Incarceration: A Handbook for Change. Hawilo’s groundbreaking handbook offers practical insights and tools for driving systemic change. Professor Gardner and Maria Hawilo will delve into the structural injustices of the criminal justice system, with a focus on the mass incarceration crisis in America. Together, they will explore the human costs of incarceration, the failures of punitive justice, and what meaningful reform looks like in practice. 

This event qualifies for 1.0 MO BAR MCLE and can be attended in person or on Zoom. Registration is required for online attendees and is limited.
