Hawilo’s groundbreaking handbook offers practical insights and tools for driving systemic change. Professor Gardner and Maria Hawilo will delve into the structural injustices of the criminal justice system, with a focus on the mass incarceration crisis in America. Together, they will explore the human costs of incarceration, the failures of punitive justice, and what meaningful reform looks like in practice.
