Each student in "Fundamentals of Directing" will direct a two-person scene. These scenes begin rehearsals after Fall Break and will be performed at the end of the semester.

Actors must have some availability in the 9-11am time slot on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for observed rehearsals during the Fundamentals of Directing class period. Actors will come to our class three times––two for rehearsals and for the final showcase (the last Friday of the semester).

Rehearsals will be held approximately 3 times a week, scheduled by the director based on the actors' and director's availability. Actors are expected to be present for all rehearsals.

Actors will either perform a memorized 90 second monologue or we will provide of the ones recently made available for the PAD auditions. If you choose to perform a provided monologue, memorization is not required.
