We all have conversations we dread. Wanting to avoid such conversations is normal, but putting them off does not necessarily make them go away. And, confronting such conversations doesn’t always help. In fact, it can make things worse. During the course of this workshop series, you will explore what gets in the way of having a difficult conversation and learn how to constructively navigate such conversations. You will learn ways of anticipating and dealing with emotions, how to confront tough topics and how to adjust in the moment to ensure the conversation goes as smoothly as possible. Led by Jessica Kuchta-Miller, WUSTL Office of the Ombuds, sponsored by the Liberman Graduate Center. This virtual 3-part series will take place Mondays (4:00 - 5:00pm), October 25, November 1, and November 8.

Students who RSVP will receive a Zoom link to the series.
