Developing and Sustaining Community Advisory Boards

This is a past event.

Friday, June 18, 2021 10 AM to 11:30 AM

The Collaborative for Community-Centered Conversations, known as Collaborative Café, is a discussion and support network for those interested in community-engaged health research and practice. Community partners are encouraged to attend.

Join us for this session: Developing and Sustaining Community Advisory Boards in Support of Research Partnerships. Participants will become familiar with and knowledge about two long standing Community Advisory Boards (CABs) that support researchers at Washington University. They will:

  • Understand the composition and activities of these CABs and how they emerged.
  • Be able to describe key elements of the participatory process that support their sustainability.
  • Better understand opportunities to work with these CABs rather than developing new boards.
  • Justine Craig-Meyer
  • Peter Myers
  • Yvette Schulz
