Data-Informed, Equity-Driven: Cultivating a Collaborative Data Culture

Wednesday, May 4 | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Virtual Event

For social sector organizations, a crucial step toward improving impact is cultivating a collaborative data culture through collective vision and goals. Building strong communication across an organization – executive leadership, frontline staff, community stakeholders, and beyond – supports the shared creation and implementation of a sustainable data strategy. At this event, participants will identify tools and strategies to cultivate a culture of data-informed decision-making grounded in collaboration and focused on equitable outcomes.

Presenters will provide insights on:

  • Communicating effectively about data across roles
  • Building capacity to engage with community partners around data
  • Centering equity in your organization’s data culture and practice
  • Identifying organizational priorities for future growth in these areas
  • Tools and resources to help you along the way

Join the Social Policy Institute to hear insights from national and local leaders, connect with social sector colleagues, and grapple together with big-picture questions about how to build an organizational culture that is data-informed and equity-driven.

Data Science for Social Impact is an initiative of the Social Policy Institute at Washington University in St. Louis, supported by Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth and in collaboration with an advisory committee, the St. Louis Regional Data Alliance, and data.org.
