Crochet x Programming Workshop

Thursday, November 17, 2022 | 6:00 PM

Ursa's Fireside

Did you know original programming algorithms were based on weaving patterns? In relation, other fiber arts such as crocheting utilize CS-related algorithms in their designs and patterns.

Join the Association for Computing Machinery at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, at Ursa's Fireside for the Crochet x Programming Workshop. RSVP online for free food, yarn, crochet hooks and more.

Learn about the intersection between crochet and programming from guest speaker Mercedes Bernard, principal engineer at Cloud City Development, and crochet cute items.

No prior experience in crocheting or coding is necessary. We're here to have fun, learn and be creative!
