As part of Global Health Week and Pediatric Grand Rounds, Yvonne Maldonado will present on Covid-19 Pandemic Driven Challenges in Addressing Global Burden of Disease: A Pediatric Perspective.

Global Health Week is a Washington University-wide initiative to engage multiple schools in global health topics, organized by the Institute for Public Health, Global Health Center and its Global Health Student Advisory Committee, Arts & Sciences, Brown School, McKelvey School of Engineering, Olin Business School, and School of Medicine.

Please note that for all in-person events, attendees must adhere to Washington University’s public health requirements, including the latest events and meetings protocol. Guests will be required to show a successful self-screening result and wear a mask at all times.

Maldonado has led a number of NIH, CDC, USAID, Gates Foundation and WHO funded domestic and international pediatric vaccine studies.
