About this Event
The purpose of this town hall is to engage the campus community and raise awareness of the Committee to Examine Remembrance and Commemoration, charged by Chancellor Martin to develop a framework for examining issues of naming and commemoration including buildings, spaces, scholarships and professorships. The Committee will recommend the formation of an adjudicatory body that will then apply this framework for making a recommendation to the Chancellor. As cases arise, the Chancellor will authorize this body to review cases, receive their recommendations, and submit these recommendations to the Board for action.
