The presentation is titled "The End of Çatalhöyük and Archaeology in the Time of Climate Change." The talk summarizes 20 years of excavation and research at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Çatalhöyük, Turkey, featuring rapid environmental events and long-term social changes in the Near East, 9000-7500 years ago.
This event is co-hosted and co-sponsored by the Department of Anthropology and the Center for the Environment, followed by a reception.
