Join the Center for Community Health Partnership & Research for the third event in a four-part series of Collaborative Café discussions on health equity and research. Panelists share key takeaways about equity- focused or disparity-focused research.

The discussion will include highlights of equity research projects at WashU and in St. Louis and the importance of engaging communities in this work. Attendees will:

• Learn why research about disparities is important to public health and how it can be applied across disciplines
• Understand how community engagement can be used to enhance equity research
• Examine best practices, including study design and theory, for researching socioeconomic, health, racial, gender, and other disparities
• Hear about current focus areas of equity research and where knowledge gaps exist.
