WashU’s third annual Civic Action Week kicks off on Feb. 17, 2025! Civic Action Week is a weeklong initiative to highlight civic engagement opportunities throughout Washington University. All week across campus, different student groups, faculty, staff, and community partners will host events and other opportunities to engage.

Our civic landscape is continually evolving, with both persistent and emergent issues across local, national, and international communities. If you’re passionate about social issues and want to get involved, where do you begin?

Civic Action Week offers students a creative and engaging suite of opportunities to understand their civic journey, learn more about critical issues, and build connections for future work. As we move through and beyond the 2024 US Elections, Civic Action Week activities will invite you to consider how to get involved beyond voting and turn your civic passions into action.
