Join student educator Yue Dai, PhD student in the Department of Art History & Archaeology at Washington University, for a tour featuring contemporary art in the Kemper Art Museum’s permanent collection galleries. This tour will explore different approaches to color in paintings, sculptures, and a large-scale installation by artists from the United States, Germany, and Jamaica, whose works alternately deploy a variety of rich colors or a conservatively narrow color palette, resulting in different visual and emotional effects.

Free and open to the public. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the tour. Our tours can accommodate groups of 20, but we encourage you to check in at the Welcome Desk to secure your place.
