As part of the CBAC Seminar series, join us for this presentation by Barbara Casadei. She is a British Heart Foundation Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Oxford and Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust where she leads the Cardiovascular Theme of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Biomedical Research Centre. She is also a Fellow of the UK Academy of Medical Sciences, the Immediate Past President (2020-22) of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the founder of EuroHeart, an initiative supporting continuous assessment and improvement of quality of cardiovascular care in Europe. Her research programme spans from investigations in human tissue and cells to clinical trials with a focus on atrial fibrillation.
