Biography:Carsen Codel is a Political Science major in the College of Arts & Sciences with minors in Legal Studies and Jazz Studies and Performance. He has played classical piano for 14 years, jazz piano since 8th grade, and jazz guitar since his sophomore year at WashU. During his time at WashU, Carsen has served as the President and Treasurer of the Run Club and also has worked in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions as a tour guide. He has continued his passion for music throughout his four years by being a DJ at KWUR 90.3 FM, playing shows around St. Louis with friends, and releasing a full length LP. After college, Carsen plans on taking a gap year in West Des Moines with his family and then attending law school. He hopes to keep up his music practice, performance, and production for many years to come and is very excited to share his senior recital to celebrate the fulfilling musical experience he has had at WashU!
