Change is possible with strategic effort! Thus, it's fantastic that CSE at WashU has a strategic Departmental BPC Plan. A Departmental BPC Plan helps create greater impact in BPC work and provides opportunities for more faculty to engage. In this talk, we'll discuss details within the WashU Departmental BPC Plan and provide practical suggestions to consider in the implementation of your BPC activities (e.g., related to TAs, advising, and recruitment of faculty/graduate students).

In order to gain maximum benefit for your efforts, we will also discuss a BPC implementation process that we encourage WashU to use. In addition, we will (hopefully) provide WashU CSE faculty with inspiration to join the BPC journey, by looking at the BPC success one institution obtained by following this process.

Lastly, we will discuss opportunities "coming down the pipe" at the Computing Research Association. We hope all WashU faculty (and students!) will engage, learn, and "level up"!
