Washington University invites you to a fireside chat with Fiona Hill on “The World Putin Wants: The Invasion of Ukraine and the Threat to the International Order” under the auspices of the Assembly Series—a tradition of convening thought leaders since 1953. Hill is a leading expert on Russia and advisor to three U.S. presidents. She is a senior fellow in the Center on United States and Europe in the Foreign Policy program at the Brookings Institution and former deputy assistant to the president and senior director for European and Russian affairs on the National Security Council. This event is made possible by the Office of the Provost, in partnership with the McDonnell International Scholars Academy, the S.T. Lee Endowed Lecture, and the Thomas C. Hennings, Jr. Memorial Lecture Fund.
