Join University Libraries as we celebrate the 4th of July and these two important anniversaries in the fight for equality and freedom. The virtual event will feature an abridged reading of the speech “The Declaration of the Rights of the Women of the United States” and a panel discussion on women’s suffrage and the ACLU featuring Elizabeth Katz, associate professor of law at Washington University, and Miranda Rectenwald, University Libraries’ curator of Local History.
Please register by July 1 to receive the Zoom link to join this event.
