Kathryn Funk is the program manager for PubMed Central at the U.S. National Library of Medicine. She is responsible for providing strategic leadership and policy guidance for the literature program at NLM and for implementing successful collaborations with scientific research funders and publishers that increase the public’s access to scientific research results. Katie received her master’s degree in library and information science from The Catholic University of America.
