Getting Here

Directed by William Whitaker, Professor of Practice in Drama, "You Don’t Live Here Anymore" is the first in a three-part series of script-in-hand stage readings which are the culmination of the A.E. Hotchner Playwriting Festival. During the festival, three aspiring playwrights – with the support of PAD actors, faculty directors and guest dramaturg – Jenni Werner (Literary Director and Resident Dramaturg at Geva Theatre Center) – take part in a two-week workshop to develop their works from the page to the stage. After each presentation there will be a post-show discussion with the playwright, director and dramaturg in which you, the audience, are an integral part of the process and an ongoing participant in the development of each play.
