Join the ICHAD/SMART Africa Center for the March Speakers Series with Elvin Geng, MD, Professor of Medicine and Director of the Center for Dissemination and Implementation at WashU’s Institute for Public Health, who will speak on “Adaptive Strategies for Retention in HIV Care in Africa: A Research Agenda for Personalization of Public Health.”
Elvin Geng’s research uses the lens of Dissemination and Implementation Research to advance the understanding of, and ability to respond to, the global HIV epidemic. His presentation will highlight the variety of evidence-based adaptive interventions in HIV care, such as SMS messages, conditional cash transfers, and case management, and how to optimize their use in HIV care retention.
