On April 10, WashU faculty members and their community partners will be elevated and recognized for their innovative and impactful research and for their deep engagement with the region. You'll hear from leaders in community-engaged research as they share best practices and wisdom in this important area.

One WashU researcher will be honored with the 2024 William H. Danforth St. Louis Confluence Award, designed to encourage and reward research that enhances our impact in St. Louis.

1:30 p.m. Amplifying Community Voices: Changing our Research Strategies
In this panel on community-engaged research, learn about the partnerships between WashU and the community, what is occurring, and what we can all do to create mutually beneficial research, and positive community outcomes. We’ll discuss the principles of community-engaged research, and how they have been enacted, as well as the methods that work for successful partnerships.
